Environmental Protection in Solid Waste Management

Environmental protection in solid waste management is a critical component of ecological civilization construction, covering the entire chain from source reduction, classification, and recycling to harmless treatment and resource recovery. Improper handling of waste-from daily kitchen waste and plastic garbage to industrial residues and hazardous medical waste—can lead to soil contamination, water pollution, and even the spread of pathogens.

By promoting waste classification, constructing modern treatment facilities, and developing recycling technologies, we can not only reduce the environmental burden but also tap into the resources within waste, fostering a green production and lifestyle while preserving a clean and habitable ecological space for future generations.

Kontex Solutions

Production Process

Solid Waste Environmental Protection

◎Dust/Filtration Dust: Through agglomeration (e.g., pelletizing dust into balls), it facilitates easier recycling, treatment, transportation, storage, and stacking.

◎Ash: Via mixing, cooling, reacting, dust binding, and degassing, it is repurposed for reuse as building materials or for safe landfill disposal.

◎Sludge/Filter Cake: Through mixing/homogenization, drying, and granulation, it is processed for recovery in high-temperature processes, volume and weight reduction, and suitable for stacking.

◎Spent Solvents: Mixed/homogenized with media (e.g., absorbent powders) under inert gas conditions to handle materials containing solvent components.

◎Gypsum: Can be recycled for use in the building materials industry.
