Solution Ceramics: Kontex Mixer-Granulators
Kontex Intensive Mixers are capable of mixing, homogenizing, granulating, plasticizing, suspending, cooling or heating, and facilitating chemical reactions—all within a single machine. They are suitable for processing a wide range of materials, including molding compounds, molecular sieves, proppants, varistor compounds, dental compound scutting ceramics, grinding agents, oxide ceramics, non-oxide ceramics, composite materials, silicate technical ceramics, grinding balls, and ferrites.

kontex Intensive Mixer for Ceramic Granule Preparation
Granules are produced in R-type intensive mixers equipped with an inclined mixing pan. These mixers function as a combination of an intensive mixer, a non-tilted mixing pan, and a disk pelletizer. Consequently, a single machine can homogenize fine powders and simultaneously form them into granules.

Owing to the flexibility of kontex intensive mixers, the grain size distributioncan be controlled over a wide range:
◎At higher tool speeds, dry base materials are homogenized to achieve optimal results, and microparticlesare formed through the addition of liquids.
◎At lower tool speeds, larger pellets up to 6 mm can be formed and rounded.
◎Customized System Solutions.
Suitable for All Performance Grades of Mixing
The kontex series of mixers offers capacities ranging from 1 liter to 12,000 liters, efficiently meeting gusers' specific requirements. In many cases, the same mixer can perform various applications step-by-step and continuously.
